The Talk Shows
April 7th, 2013
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Dan Pfeiffer, adviser to President Barack Obama; former Rep. Asa Hutchinson, who directed a National Rifle Association-sponsored study on ways to improve school safety.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.; Bill Richardson, a former U.N. ambassador and New Mexico governor; Michele Flournoy, a former undersecretary of defense for policy.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Sens. Chuck U. Schumer, D-N.Y., and John McCain, R-Ariz.; former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Pfeiffer.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Gov. Dannel Malloy, D-Conn.; Jon Huntsman, a former U.S. ambassador to China and Utah governor; Reps. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill., and Mario Diaz-Balart, R-Fla.
Asa Hutchinson on FOX touting his 250 page comprehensive report on protecting students (Task Force for School Safety), armed guards only a small part of it. Teachers should teach, not be expected to become the armed guards.
Wallace asking him about background checks. Criminal history or mental illness. Hutch opposes gratuitous background checks.
Incentive for the States to put more information into the background check database.
Asa states; “No matter what you do, bad guys are going to get guns.”
Talking about video games, mental health issues. You can’t expect the federal government to solve this problem because it’s not solvable, it’s a societal issue.
Obama’s position is a political agenda.
OK. I've slinked over here and am meekly tugging at my forelock by the side door...
Kindly tell me exactly what Chuck "Kapo" Schumer has to say. He is so inspiring and has such mahvelous insights into our Constitution our Founding Fathers. I can't hardly wait. Please. Don't make me wait too long!
WOW! David Stockman on ABC is telling the truth about what’s going on with unemployment, the economy. And they didn’t get the hook out for him! (yet)
Will - lowest workforce participation and it CAN’T be explained by the baby-boomers’ retiring.
In the meantime here is something to think about...http://conservativebyte.com/2013/04/126-federal-anti-poverty-programs/
He will say nothing that is true nor important.
His only value is to prompt you to channel surf somewhere else, or go do something useful until he's done lying and being offensive.
Hey, I've got a novel idea. Why don't we do something spectacular like kill the evil little snake before he kills a bunch of us?
april 15, is supposed to be some special day for little Kim, family history.
...I heard about the Benghazi Mom. Probably be more on this next week.
...I don't know to which you refer as regards some sort of Bone flying over North Korea. Did you mean drone or something?
...tell me more about private police forces.
...As I understand it, Obama wants to cap retirement accounts at three million.
You know, you HAVE to pay taxes on those dollars eventually. I got a story about that.
What's Obamer hope to gain except scaring folks away from IRA/401K's?
Am buying a "green" skillet from Walmart this week, next week I shall be merrily tossing vegetables into the air whilst wearing chef's hat and, of course, with sous chef Gerald by my side ready to help.
Below Gerald stalking a mouse last week. He caught not ONE, but TWO mice. Three other cats in the house and Gerald catches all da mice. Heh.
Sounds like Asa is worth watching.
The Road to Recovery segment on ABC is well worth watching. Basically the whole panel understands what is going on....... except for Paul Krugman. He gets his butt whooped in this segment. Wonder how ABC allowed this one.
Greetings from the cold research triangle in NC.
Many of the ideas originate here. We are among the few that understand what it going on,how a half million stopped looking for work yet unemployment ticks down pur BS. And how Bernanke is sabotaging the currency every month instead of giving the money to small business which could create jobs.
FNS was rather pathetic. I stopped watching after Asia Hutchinson was forced to defend why guns don’t kill people people do.
Gotta run no computer today late plane back to Florida.
Our gun arguments are so easy but we seldom make them.
DNC Dave: Tell me, guys, isn't the president doing a fabulous job?
Steffy: Absolutely, Dave, he still deserves his halo.
Chris: But, but, but, things have never been better.
Bob S: zzzzzzzz
Thanks.
FNS Wallace just said that the Little Tyrant is possibly trying to emulate more his Grandfather than his Father. The Grandfather was the one who invaded South Korea.
Just wait until the illegals pour across the border before the Obama Amnesty takes effect. All of the statistics will change. Fortunately we keep printing money so we can keep the experts on the government payroll to calculate exactly what we don't know, to 3 decimal places and beyond. (Subject to revision the next month, after the headline has come and gone.)
You have to hand it to old LBJ. When he wasn't entertaining his guests by picking up his beagles by their ears, he was being a prophet when he declared on Air Force One, "I'll have those n-ggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years!". Now that is one successful government program!
Let's forget for a moment about the $15,500,000,000,000 (that's trillion!) we've wisely invested to get us there, shall we? Instead, let's talk about more gun control to "fix" that problem instead!
You Go, Chucky!!
Will be seeing Fox news sun in an hour.
The prob wi NK is that in one week they can do major, major, major damage to Seoul, SK.
AS Rumsfeld said, there are the unknowable unknowns ( or soemthing like that,ha).
The "Bone" is actually a B1 (B-one) A pretty spectacular supersonic aircraft, highly maneuverable, invisible to radar, can fly close to the ground and is capable of doing un-bomber like actions...like doing a roll etc.
...tell me more about private police forces.

As cities lay off police, frustrated neighborhoods turn to private cops
With cities cutting their police to balance budgets, some well-to-do neighborhoods are hiring private security, marking an expansion of unarmed guards beyond office parks and gated communities.
