The Talk Shows
April 7th, 2013
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Dan Pfeiffer, adviser to President Barack Obama; former Rep. Asa Hutchinson, who directed a National Rifle Association-sponsored study on ways to improve school safety.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.; Bill Richardson, a former U.N. ambassador and New Mexico governor; Michele Flournoy, a former undersecretary of defense for policy.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Sens. Chuck U. Schumer, D-N.Y., and John McCain, R-Ariz.; former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Pfeiffer.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Gov. Dannel Malloy, D-Conn.; Jon Huntsman, a former U.S. ambassador to China and Utah governor; Reps. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill., and Mario Diaz-Balart, R-Fla.
So let me jump in here and mention how much I despise Portman for his gay marriage stance.
Because HIS SON IS GAY?
This is reason to spit on everyone who elected him, for his son is gay?
The pubs disgust me.....the new norm is for those with gay children to come forth and force homosexual marriage down our throats.
I include Dick Cheney and his lesbian daughter in that.
IT’S NOT ALL ABOUT YOU YON POLITICAL ELITE!
Yup, or we could talk about the NORKs who threaten to blow up San Fransicko, or the Bengazi victim's mother who's speaking out, or the incredible "Bone" doing scary supersonic fly-overs in Korea, private police forces cropping up across the US, the ATF collecting your data, Obama raiding your retirement accounts...etc etc etc.
Freepers, doing the jobs regular American media won't do.
FNS
Hutchinson has been making noise about running for governor and/or the Senate.
The only one who might be watchable this morning is Asa Hutchinson. I might be able to catch the rerun tonight if it is reported Chris Wallace lets him get a word in edgewise. Otherwise, I have no desire to listen to Wallace's snarky opinions.
The rest of the lineup is simply sucky. It's worse than watching old Sponge Bob reruns. But at least Sponge Bob is just a sponge and not a sponge who makes his living as a slimy politician, using our tax dollars and making stupid laws which take away our freedom and liberty.
Does anybody watch these lame Sunday shows any more? I mean anybody except the few stalwart FReepers who bravely feel compelled to keep tabs on the enemy?
Thanks for the thread, AB! Watching ABC (which is all I can get in before church, unfortunately),
president is going to have dinner with the Republicans again this week. How special. Hmmmm, maybe a few senators can manage another filibuster that evening?
Dan Pfeiffer -Obama will only accept chained CPI if they use a balanced approach - carve out tax loopholes, protect old seasoned citizens
On obam’s gun control push - Pfeiffer is complaining about a possible filibuster. Awwwwwww. Basically says they are disrespecting the Newtown families. allrighty.
Hmmmmm, if they are trying to shame the senators who are proposing a filibuster, these senators SHOULD do it. It must worry them that it may hurt them.
Oh sure, come in here and crap all over our good fun.
Go over there and sing by the door, and Fishtalk will come help you out.
Morning, I found yet another application for your cast iron frying pan.
Are they having dog, arugula, and ice cream again?
ABC shows a clip of Martha Radditz in North Korea looking really serious.
Oh, she’s back, stateside. (scaredy cat) They believe NK may have a long range missile that could hit the US. If they do - game changer.
David (?) discussing 5027 plan. Don’t want to trigger bigger war.
Greta Van Sursten - April 15 is Kim Jung Un’s birthday; they will want to do something spectacular.
Good Lord, what a lineup:o(
lol, I don’t know what they’re having....hopefully they get indigestion.
I often think of this when I see Congress!
LOL!
Asa Hutchinson gets points for remaining calm while speaking with Chris Wallace, who is talking like a fool!
Maybe we should start refering to it as “The Last Supper”.
