It broke down on the test track. Lots of other problems too.
I am not big fan of consumer reports. I have had very good luck owning cars rated poorly by CR. Part of that is I can diagnose many car problems myself. In my experience, American made cars suffer from lack of stringent inspections. The mentality is to let the car buyer find problem which is cheaper than inspecting every car thoroughly. But after those minor problems are taken care of, American cars can outlast most other cars.
Odd. You would think that we'd have figured out how to stick some batteries and an electric motor in a vehicle by now, considering that the first 'car' was electric, and R.C. electric toys are abundant.
