I just read Mark Steyn’s latest article on the fact that our country’s demographics and culture have changed so profoundly that we’re unlikely ever to elect a Republican president or have majorities in Congress again. I was in a great mood before I read it, but now I’m so depressed I thought I’d come here and try to cheer up. However, what Rush is talking about (”Tom” and “Nancy” and Moochelle) is just making it worse. Good thing I don’t turn to booze when I’m depressed; I’d be too drunk to type.

Pretty common knowledge that this was going to be the plan. Any bad news was going to be blamed on the sequester.

Their strategy must not be going over so well though. I heard on Fox last night that Obie is now asking for more flexibility on how to realign the cuts and shift around funds.
