4 gay NFL players could come out on the same day, Brendon Ayanbadejo says

Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo was released by Baltimore this offseason, and on the heels of comments earlier this week where he suggested that he was cut in part because of his outspoken stance on gay rights and equality issues, Ayanbadejo clarified himself to the Baltimore Sun on Friday. During an hour-long interview he made it clear that he harbors no resentment for the Ravens, and respects them for the support they offered him throughout his career both on and off the field. But that's not all.
...Ayanbadejo had this to say:
"I think it will happen sooner than you think," Ayanbadejo said. "We're in talks with a handful of players who are considering it. There are up to four players being talked to right now and they're trying to be organized so they can come out on the same day together. It would make a major splash and take the pressure off one guy. It would be a monumental day if a handful or a few guys come out."

They’re homosexual, not gay. Let’s stop using the verbage of the left.
Also, Roger Goodell should be happy with all the homo football players. It should cut down on head injuries as I can’t imagine these queer players roughing each other up on the football field.

Next we’ll have “Gay Pride Sunday”, and all NFL teams will be obligated to paint rainbows across the 50 yard lines.

If you figure the roster is around 60 (incl practice squad) and 32 team, there are about 1900 players.
So this is another indicator of the REAL percentage of gays.

Actually, Mr. Ayanbadejo, I think it is safe to assume that you were cut because, with regard to the skill level needed to compete in the NFL, you were a marginal quantity at best and flat-out mediocre at worst. In other words, you were cut because just about anybody in the NFL who doesn't have the surname "Ayanbadejo" can play your position better than you can.
If you want to blame your unemployment on something else, that is your prerogative, of course. But it's hardly a constructive way to go about reconstructing what little may be left of your football career.

More likely wide receivers.

All the straight players should come out. Announce they’re forming a straight-only league and tell the gay players they can go play in the lingerie league. Though I doubt that would go over too well with the minorities.

It started with George Costanza... :) Actually way before that but I saw that episode last night where he admits spending enormous amounts of energy on that quest.

Why do I feel as if I keep changing the channel but the same program is always on? Does anybody stil care if anybody is gay? We know there are gay NFL players they are already in the locker room and I’ll assume most of their teammates already know. Why do we keep going on about this nonsense?
