(Reuters) - North Korea has asked Russia to consider the possibility of evacuating staff from its embassy in Pyongyang due to increasing tension on the Korean Peninsula, a spokesman for the Russian embassy said by phone from Pyongyang on Friday.

This is not correct, it is a message lost in the translation. The Norks asked if the diplomats wanted assistance with a possible evacuation.

The NK leadership makes an agreement in return for food aid or economic help.... Then it breaks the deal.
Then it wins another concession in returning for promising to keep the agreement that it has already made (and broken).

NK had several nuclear tests, and they were not that massive. A nuke made by a member of the nuclear club would have produced far more energy; it's also very unlikely that NK can keep buying or stealing as many nukes as they need. Buying is right out, considering that NK is poor and has nothing to offer to developed countries.
We know that NK has domestic nuclear industry, and we know that have some hackers reworking old rocket designs from all over the world, trying to put something together. By all indications NK's rockets and nukes are made there; perhaps there was help from Pakistan or Iran.
My question is, if the North Koreans do attack South Korean forces will Obama do anything? If the Norks attack American forces with sizable weapons, let alone hit our mainland with a nuke - would our president do anything?? Would he have our military actually respond with overwhelming force?
I honestly don’t know if he would or not. I think he would ask China’s permission before sending them a nasty email let alone hit back with true military force.
NK tested their nukes which doesn’t eliminate they might have purchased something from Russia.
Russia is working with them.
Who in China or Russia is foolish enough to conquer the USA and win the right to feed 46 million food stamps recipients?
As a threat, this sounds ominous, but a true enemy would only stoke tensions within the country, divide the people on racial and cultural boundaries. He would also encourage spending of other people's money and abandonment of domestic industry. Public morale would be ridiculed and eventually cast away, starting with corruption of the children. After that the true enemy only needs to sit back and watch the show; the USA will be destroyed by the country's own population. Some say it's already destroyed, but the people are afraid to admit that. The real test is simple, though. Will the USA survive on its own if all other countries suddenly disappear? An independent country can do that. If a country cannot survive, it's a colony that lives off of someone else's industrial resources.

Not to worry so much...Russia’s simply spearheading a “rescue” for the people in the Northern factories, if it becomes needful,...a joined effort with other interested parties.
Did Fidel get to meet with Jay-Z and Beyonce on their vacation down there?
Maybe they told him Baraq needs Fidel as his negotiator.
.....”if the North Koreans do attack South Korean forces will Obama do anything?”....
Well since they’ve already determined not to broadcast the war games as much as they have been...I doubt anything the US does will be revealed as it might be.
The Kim dynasty has spent years making certain the people there see that enemy is the USA...no matter who initiates what....and no matter how this goes down..it will still be the USA that’s the enemy.
That's a hundred billion times worse!
