Rick Santorum appears to be eyeing the White House again, with the former Pennsylvania senator telling Newsmax TVs Steve Malzberg that he may run for president in 2016.
Im certainly leaving the door open for that, Santorum revealed on The Steve Malzberg Show Wednesday afternoon.
The same advisors who botched these last two campaigns are now saying, Well, you know, since we cant win with moderate Republicans, we have to now try to be liberal Republicans to win instead of standing up for the values that made our country great, he said.

Please don’t....
lol
Great news, and here’s one of many reasons why:
Santorum received an A+ rating from NRA, better than Ron Paul, or Newt, who got A(s), also good, but not as good as Rick’s A+.
Not only did NRA A+ rating Rick Santorum vote for our 2nd Amendment rights, but he fought to keep gun companies in the U.S.A.! Santorum gets things done, because he is a figher!
Just ask the NRA CEO:
He [Rick Santorum] was the most effective advocate of bringing it [legislation to protect gun companies from frivolous lawsuits] to the floor and getting a vote scheduled. He used his influence to get it to the floor. Without that, we would have lost every American gun company.

Rick Santorum fights for pro-life, pro-2nd amendment and many other Constitutional issues. We need a FIGHTER, not just a voter.
There are a few others I love, too!
Just hope we don’t get another Romney/McCain/Dole because some people don’t do enough research.
For 2016 conservatives need to have the two options.
A conservative in the GOP primaries and a third option if the GOP shoves a RINO in our faces.
I will not vote for a RINO for anything again.
The RINO’s will run a third party if a real conservative wins the GOP primaries.
Talk of a Bloomberg run in 2012 was probably part of such a scheme that wasn’t needed when Romney won the contest.
Santorum is a tool of the RINO’s to keep us on the GOP Plantation.
no
Rick Santorum is not likable—in a public, media sense. And I say that as someone who agrees with everything he says—except some of his New Deal economic notions.
No, Mr. Sweater-vest, as much as I appreciate his pro-life stances, can’t even win his home state.
He has zero ability to control the narrative.
He can more often than not come across as whiney. (NOTE: there were some times during the debates when this was NOT the case.)
In the end he got used in the primaries to split the conservative base, and that seemed to be OK with him. Sorry Rick, sometimes you have to play for the team, not for the individual stats, when it’s clear you’re not going to be Team Captain.
You clearly haven’t done your own research, this anti-Reagan guy is desperate for work after being totally rejected and kicked out of his Senate seat with a larger than 18 point loss, he made the history books and lost by a bigger margin as a sitting Senator than the novice Christine O’Donnell.
His love for Romney in 2008 and his devotion to Arlen Specter even in the 2010 election, showed who he is.
Is he next in line for the GOP? You know - they always put up the loser of the primaries as the next candidate. The GOP is a very creative, imaginative group./s
Not even close, I agree with Yossarian and nextrush, Santorum is there to serve the establishment, but not to be the actual nominee, he doesn’t really have the chops for that large of a role or the ability, he is a survivor type career politician looking for an income, he isn’t a leading man.
ansel12, you make this forum worthwhile.
Run Ricki, run. Bring all the ding dongs, with ya. This collapsed system needs every last one of you. The saving of Our Country will come from a total collapse of the current liars and their progeny. No other way is possible. May God harden us to truth by action.
Amen.....Love him but don’t want him to run again.
I like Rick but I won’t vote for him for Republican nominee for president. He is still the perfect example of a Bush Era big spending social conservative who loves to expand government for “conservative” causes.
I agree. I like Rick, but he would get smoked in a Goldwater styled defeat if he was the nominee.
This guy is creepy, not too bright, & sadly resembles Howdy Doody..................DON’T!
Would take Santorum over Rubio, Ryan, RaPaul, and the other RINO Flavors of the Month
Santorum can motivate the Evangelicals and the Social Conservatives. A better strategy than Illegal Alien Amnesty to get Hispanics
Some good news for a change. Lord is hearing our prayers. We need a conservative and a guy who has morals. What a refreshing thought for a President. The names that have been floating around have been in the vain of Romney and McCain too of the most liberal people ever in the Republican Party.
