Expect massive non-compliance. And a few law suits.

They’re coming for your guns CT. After you give them up, what they do to next is your own damn fault, because you will not be able to fight back. Enjoy your socialist hell.

Non compliance does not worry them. they have jails, heavily armed goons, and prisons to deal with those who do not comply.
Lawsuits do not worry them because they own the courts.
They have both these avenues covered. So what else remains?

someone with the resources ought to conduct a pole in all the countries where the citizens have been disarmed by their government and ask what they think of being helpless against criminals and their government tyrants. On second thought, maybe that is the question that should be asked of Americans. Instead the pollsters are asking: should firearms ownership by America citizens be forbidden in order to protect the innocent and the children?

I just scanned through the bill linked in the article. Yup. Sound like just what the doctor ordered. Only one glaring problem for the asshats in the nutbag states legislature. Didn’t happen to see ANYTHING that would have stopped little adam lanza (new poster villain for HCI) anyplace in the entire package. Maybe I missed something. Kind of like the “Just teach men not to rape.” “Teach nutbags not to go on rampages.” There. That ought to do it. The level of stupidity of the American public far exceeds my expectations again. While we, the law abiding victims, are the ones who suffer these intrusions on our God given rights. Not government “granted” rights.

While they are at it, they should make Murder illegal. That would fix it.

You know -- call me crazy -- but I think the government is beginning to infringe some Constitutionally protected rights.
Massive civil disobedience would seem to be the order of the day. The laws in CT (and every other state) which infringe RKBA should be flaunted, laughed at, and violated with great abandon. All of them. We need to become a nation of Scofflaws.

Connecticut gun ban signifies new phase in history If history is any indication, that phase would properly be termed "pre-revolutionary".

We are about to enter a new phase in history here.
Actually, you're about to enter a tragic and predictable old phase, repeated far too many times in the historical record.
And the phase that comes next sure ain't fun.

This is just a “what if” thought that I had...
Just what if all of the FFL’s in Connecticut got together and
decided that they did not want to be bothered with participating
in performing background checks for private party transactions?
What is there in the law that would “force” them
to perform business transactions against their will?
What would such action do to the law-makers forced registration plans?

Guerrilla war. Gun grabbers can die. Ask how well we've subdued Afghanistan or Iraq (or how we failed in Viet Nam).
The gun grabbers — their willing fellow travelers in the political, judicial, LEO, and media classes — all live among us. In this age of information, they can be hunted down. Remember how the staff of the NY periodical screamed after they published all the CCW permit holders in the two Long Island counties when of their personal information was posted on the Internet?
Do the same to the gun grabbers in all these states. Put FEAR into them. Make them fear something will happen to them or their families. Make them constantly live looking at everyone as a potential assassin. Make them feel hunted like the vermin they are.
