Look for either or BOTH CT and NY gun control laws to land up in the courts, COUNT ON IT.

So, when some nutbag initiates another such offense, then what will they say? Like marxanista difi would say “Turn ‘em in Mr. and Mrs. America.” Don’t bloody think so. I continue to wait for one of these asshats to explain just how any of this crap will prevent nutbags from achieving their goals. It only about control and appearing that “they did something” even though the only thing they did was further restrict law abiding victims rights. I think that’ll be my new term to use. Law abiding victims.

SCOTUS confirmed 2A is an individual right (Heller) and the McDonald ruling incorporated 2A to the states.
It’far past time for a major challenge to reign in out of control states.

Nobody will be able to say that this bill
is absolutely perfect, but no one will also be able to say that this bill fails the test when it comes to being the strongest in the country and the most comprehensive bill in the country, doesn't do its best to neuter the 2nd Amendment said Connecticut Senate President Don Williams, a Democrat.
Corrected his doubletalk so that his true position can be seen.

But, we can all say that it’ll work about as well as the rest of the dorky non-IQ ideas that come out of dim-bulb-crats.

So, one person commits a crime, and the response of this state is to turn a large number of law abiding citizens into felons?
Brilliant.
maybe these newly made felons will vote smarter next time, but I somehow doubt it.

The gun owners that I know in Connecticut, all of whom would prefer to remain legal, have no intention of complying with these “laws”.

"Those who currently own LCMs will be forced to register them with the DESPP by January 1, 2014 to remain legal,"
I'm glad I only have SCMs (Standard Capacity Magazines).
My Senator (Markley) and Rep. (Noujaim) assured me (by letter and phone call, respectively) that they would NOT sign onto this bill.
I'm currently working on a Blue-State exit feasibility plan.

At what point is the RKBA infringed?

Where do criminals get guns?
- In 1985, the Department of Justice reported that only about one in five convicted felons obtained guns through legal channels such as retail stores.5
- In 1991, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms reported that 37% of armed career criminals obtained firearms from street sales, 34% from criminal acts and associates, 8% from relatives, and only 7% from dealers and 6% from flea markets and gun shows.6
- More recently, a Bureau of Justice Statistics survey of state prison inmates convicted of firearm crimes found that 79 percent acquired their firearms from street/illegal sources or friends or family. This includes theft of firearms, black market purchases of stolen firearms, and straw purchases. The survey also found that 12 percent obtained their firearms from firearm dealers (gun stores, pawn shops), while only 1.7 percent obtained firearms from anyone (dealer or non-dealer) at a gun show or flea market.7
- The FBIs National Crime Information Center stolen firearm file contained over 2 million reports as of March 1995, and an annual average of 232,400 firearms were stolen between 2005 and 2010.8
- 46.3% of firearms traced by the BATFE in relation to firearm trafficking investigations originate with straw purchasers.9

All Connecticut based gun makers should exit the state post haste and take all of their jobs with them. All Constitutional Americans should boycott Connecticut and let the state government know why.

No gun owner will lose their gun, no gun owner will lose their magazine, they will not lose the use of said gun or magazine, so long as they follow our rules and register, he contended. FU Larry! The "rules" say "Shall not be infringed."

If the current administration is willing to funnel guns to Mexican drug cartels in an effort to stir up anti-gun hysteria here at home, why wouldn’t it do the same domestically? Where DO those Chicago/Obama hometown animals get their firepower? And why won’t the feds prosecute gun criminals in the Windy City? I wonder...
To: SJackson
the problem is rapidly moving from abstract principles to concrete, hard reality. the decisions being faced by myself and every legal gun owner in CT (and soon to be nationwide) is whether to comply, or to resist.
and if to resist, then to what point?
does one resist when the mail arrives demanding registration?
does one resist when the police call you down to the station for arrest?
does one resist when the police arrive to confiscate based upon failure to register?
with what means?
this isn’t gonna end well.
