You may mean well, but it’s people like you who purge the party of Reagans and give power to the Bushes and Romneys who stab you in the back. Sanford, with his background, will support abortion and homosexuals just as much as the other one, but probably more successfully. Plus, the Democrats can rightly point out that the Republicans support state-betraying, embezzling liars. And once Sanford gets in, he will be there for life, no matter how many issues he “evolves” on. Colbert could be tossed out in 2016.
