I have taken Google off as my defautl search engine and switched to Bing
I have done the same. Will give BING a try for a while.

Yes, plenty of good alternatives. I have been using Startpage, I am sure there are others.
The Chavez doodle was a statement of their ideology.
The apology was about money. Get the picture? They respond to money. If you are a Christian and you google, you are selling them the rope to hang you.
But it is not just google.
Cable tv-cut it
Corrupt media-dont buy national brands or frequent national chains
Publications/Organizations-find the conservative alternative. AMAC instead of AARP.
Vote every day with your wallet.
