That Mika Brzezinski is a dyed-in-the-wool liberal is well-known. Less publicized: the Morning Joe host is also a person of faith with traditional views on a number of subjects.
So it actually shouldn't come as a great surprise that Brzezinski sided with those criticizing Google for its choice of devoting its homepage doodle yesterday to celebrating the birthday of Cesar Chavez, rather than honoring Easter. Said Mika on today's Morning Joe: "how about a statement one day that just says: 'we screwed up'?"

Mika gets one right! Flying pig ping to Today show list.
Who pays attention to Google doodles anyway? Google produces nothing of value. If it disappeared tomorrow, it would make no difference to the world.
I looked on the Google site and it showed they in fact have had an Easter doodle. So, what’s all the hubbub? Are they supposed to ignore all non-Christians all the time?
I’m so glad ignored a Christian holiday - again!
I’ve been meaning to change over to bing or duckduckgo.
Google is an evil site. They monitor your searches and sell the information. Just go to google and search for a hotel in Orlando. Bang - you’ll start getting pop-ups from travel companies. Or type in bankruptcy and foreclosures. Whatever you search for, by the time the sun sets, every marketing company will know your personal information.
What I find most interesting about all these liberal company leaders and RAT supporting companies, is that if their idols were to be in charge, the very companies that they invented would not be allowed to exist because of the lack of control that the dictator would want to have over it, but the founder would not want to give up that very control because of “freedom of speech”. Am I missing something on this?
What is this google you speak of?

There is now a spirit at work in this country that is openly and actively agitating an anti-Christ message. Google’s action demonstrates this.
Really? So the entire world saw the screenshot in post #1 but you saw an Easter doodle. Interesting.
The Easter doodle wasn’t this year, obviously, but Google has doodled Easter in the past. You can look it up. I just don’t understand why so many are allowing their feelings to be hurt over nothing.
I suppose we could hope that Google went with their April Fools plans one day early?
Being in California they get a day off for Cesar Chavev. They don't get one off for Easter. So maybe they're just showing their appreciation?
Google made their choice.
I made mine.

(A site which incidentally, had an entire page of easter eggs yesterday)
leftists never admit when they are wrong, because they are ALWAY wrong!
I’ll bet Google has created a LOT of jobs for Americans. N’est Pas?
If Google wanted to stay out of any religious controversy they should hove stuck with their original Logo
But to put Cesar Chavez (who???) over Easter was a STUPID STUPID STUPID move.
What Easter doodle did you see?
I like IXquick....a good "old fashioned" search engine.
NO flippin' "auto-complete".
