I work in downtown Chicago. There is a tension there, and it is becoming more pronounced.

I can add Chicago to the list of places I will never go! It ranks right up there with Mexico, Chicago might as well be a third world country considering the violence,lack of humanity and piss poor protection offered by government agencies.

This crap has been going on in Chicago intermittently for more than a year - the major papers, always terrified to publicize anything with a particular racial tinge to it, have done their best to ignore or bury stories on these incidents.
This one they won’t be able to ignore.
So once again, even at the local level, the lamestream media isn’t just part of the problem - other than the thugs instigating this stuff, they are the major facilitators of the problem.
