The states could just “pass gas” tax to their treasuries and keep this “Gas Tax Change”. That’s one “Change” Obama never thought of.

I like that. Let the federal govt sue the states for recovery. Then the states could countersue and tie their red asses up in court for years. File it in the slowest “federal snail court” in the country.

If there is one thing I could change in the tax code, it is that the payment checks get sent to the state governments first for the states to pay the federal government. Of course, the Libs in California and New York would drool over the prospect. Imagine the Libs in the states fighting the Libs in DC.
