The states could just “pass gas” tax to their treasuries and keep this “Gas Tax Change”. That’s one “Change” Obama never thought of.

I like that. Let the federal govt sue the states for recovery. Then the states could countersue and tie their red asses up in court for years. File it in the slowest “federal snail court” in the country.

Oh the pleasure of that thought.

Fight fire with fire.

I just watched the movie Atlas Shrugged (Part 1) on Netflix a few nights ago. They passed a law in a day or something to tax Colorado way more (oil production) in order to fund less fortunate states.

One of the reasons that Germany came out of the Depression is because it invaded other countries and took/developed their natural resources. Just think what would happen if the states invaded the Federal lands within their borders and started developing them! (Reasonable development of course - where tourism, fishing, hunting could coexist with mineral resource development, timber, etc.)

I proposed this to Rush 2 years ago. Ask for $1.00 contributions, set up a special account and hire the most ruthless lawyers you can find. Litigate,Litigate and Litigate EVERYTHING this administration does. Make the legal system work for us.We might not win all of the challenges, but we can put a lot of holes in the dam to keep them busy for years.
