If the GOP accept this, Huckabee is right. They’ll be finished. Laura Ingraham hit on it recently, that as traditional Americans are increasingly marginalized and attacked, they will simply withdraw from society, moving into rural areas, putting up their fences and keeping their heads down.
The effects of this will be especially prevalent in our military. I’ve already decided no kids of mine are being recommended to go into the military. I simply don’t believe the current country is worth risking your life for. Controversial, I know, and I mean no disrespect to those who have fought and are fighting, but why should Christians fight for a society that hates their guts? I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking this. It won’t be long before we have a Greek-sized armed forces. Are the liberal entitlement-loving homosexuals going to sign up en masse? I don’t think so somehow, and while the proglodytes may hate the military, they might one day need it.
