Certainly possible. There's enough black-on-black crime to suggest that for people like this, it really doesn't matter... although I haven't heard too many black-on-white cases where the authorities actually admit it was racial.

It might not have, to them, but you can bet your bottom dollar that the media and the race hustlers would have made sure that it was charged as one. They proved that they could and would do so in the Zimmerman case, which was weeks old when the media looked for just such a case in which the “cold-blooded killer” appeared to be a southern white good old boy, while the deceased could be portrayed as a youthful “honuh stoo-dint”. They didn’t bother to check the details, they knew they didn’t need to-they control the narrative.

It was initially a robbery. Black Momma’s got no money, maybe an EBT card....But even if she did hand over some money, the kid gets shot either way.
