They must be next after Cyprus. I had figured Italy, what with reopening that murderer’s case.

GREEK police say... Did the Greek police have the foresight to be prepared for just this situation? That is, over the past few years purchase and store, so as to have plenty of stockpiles now of hollow points, armored personnel carriers and firearms to "protect" the public, as the moral and financial fabric of their society winds down?

The Acropolis is huge and well guarded. Been there at night 20 years ago. Can’t believe it’s less guarded now.

The only casualties so far were those unfortunate souls who stood between officials and the nearest microphone, as they rushed to tell the world it was NOT terrorism...

I would say that the Acropolis is NOT in the center of Athens.

Embassy row is at least 10 miles away. Iguess everything is relative. :)

Just looked it up. It happened outside a ship owner’s house. No one was hurt.
I was afraid since it was near the Acropolis, it was the large restaurant across the street from the bottom of the Acropolis. It was not.

You can push people only so far. If they are planning on stealing the savings of the people, like Cyprus did, I think this is just the beginning.
