My decision to walk has nothing to do with the Huckster. He’s just trying to claim some power over evangelicals that he doesn’t have.
I have already walked away from the GOP elite running the Republican party. I know what they’re interested in. It’s not what I am interested in.

Then what is left of the republican party might just as well admit they are nothing more than a wholly owned subsidiary of the democrat party.
Once they get out of the way conservatives can set about building a true opposition party.
