KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The families of two young torture killing victims in Knoxville can wear photo buttons of their loved ones or they can sit up front in the courtroom, but not both. **excerpt**
Some background on the case:

They best stay in jail where they are safe.
After they were arrested, Channon’s father paid their bail and came within minutes of getting them released on bail before the cops caught on to what was happening and cancelled there release.
I continue to wait for this story to be covered by the national press but they have pretty much boycotted the the story.
I missed that tidbit - why did he try to pay their bail?
Something tells me this won’t get the media coverage that Zimmerman/Trayvon got.
Probably because he knew they would never get the “justice” they really deserve.
Makes sense to me - I just didn’t know if he was ever on record as saying so.
I would have gladly helped him.
IMO, death by injection is too easy.
I thought this case was relatively old news. What gives?
Victims’ families can’t sit up front with photos

Judge: Wear photo buttons, lose prime seating

Photos of courtroom here.
This is the trial, finally.
I don’t blame the father. Look at his face. I’d be the same way, or worse. They would probably not allow me in the State much less the courtroom.
Vermin Perps.
Would recommend not to hot link the photo. It has some copyright stuff that might cause a problem.
this is not unusual.
lawyers are not allowed to wear neckties which state “guilty” or “innocent” in small print. (there is such a product)
If these two are convicted you don’t want a conviction overturned for something as trivial as this.
(a judge was even ordered to remove a desktop model of an electric chair)
makes my blood boil
What a horrible crime.....If I was a family member I would probably try to make contact with another lifer at the prison and hire a hit on them
