That is why moved from So. Cal to Dallas.

I agree I’ll take bad weather (we spend most modern lives indoors anyway) over bad government. I also was tired of having be told to me that I was EVIL for making good decisions (when I was young and now) and work my butt off to make a better-than-most living.

I won’t stay where I am not wanted, so I left the place of my birth and life and haven’t looked back except to have great Schadenfreude, especially with articles like this.

California may be closer to the tipping point than it thinks.

Welcome to Texas! Do us a favor and tell any liberal friends you may have back in CA that the weather here sux and the mosquitoes are as big as armadillos. ;-)

Speak for yourself grandma.

BTW just one of the reasons we stay in CA is due to the year round wonderful Mediterranean style pe weather, where we can actually do things outdoors, any time of the year. That alone is worth a fortune to us.

Being a shut-in is fine, if your 80+ years old and all ya want to do is read junk mail.
