Great way to say that you have nothing to say about job creation. Hows Detroit doing, eh?

Sure they do. They stand for being the fifth-column shadow libs, albeit not so much in the shadows anymore.

Well how's that democrat majority in the house workin out Johnny? Guess the GOP 3 branch majorities in 24 states (inc MI) are all just an illusion.

Rep. Conyers: There is Really Only One Major Political PartyConyers thinks it's the Communist Party.
To: smoothsailing
They appear to be synonymous, in this country. After all, the Communist Manifesto lists “win(ning) the battle of democracy” as one of the goals of the Communist Party.

The only other district that might elect this piece of detritus is Maxine Waters’ district in CA. What an embarrassment.

The last time we had one of the major political parties collapse and disappear was when the Whigs dissolved.
Why? Because the Democrats had bound themselves heart and soul to a fundamentally evil idea and the Whigs simply refused to stand up against it.
Which is oddly parallel to the situation we find ourselves in, today.

It is always curious to me that those who detested “the man” and were so pro-”do your own thing” in the late 60’s are now our political leaders and now march virtually goosestep in-line with each other, single file.
They’ve become The Man so many times over.

Fits exactly with the Communist Manifesto’s goal of raising “the proletariat” (in reality the immoral dregs of society) to the level of “ruling class”.

Yours is a point well taken.
To: Olog-hai
Conyers is kind of right.
They are both sides of the same coin. The GOPe are pushing as hard as they can to become Dem-lite. And most of the old in the GOP are more concerned about their friends across the aisle than they are about their constituents.

The democrat party was “fading away” in 2005 too. Then they retook both houses of congress two years later, then the presidency. Pay this type of rhetoric no mind.
To: cotton1706
In both cases, liberals were in control.

Actually, John Conyers is absolutely positively dead on right.
The Republican party is as dead as Marley's ghost. Like a chicken with it's head off, the GOP just keeps flopping around.
