SORGUES, France A T-shirt worn by a 3-year-old nursery-schooler named Jihad has led to an unusual and politically charged criminal trial here that tests the limits of free speech and common sense in a France increasingly ill at ease with its growing Muslim population.
I am a bomb, the shirt said on the front. The back read, Jihad Born Sept. 11.

Uncle bought a shirt with “I am a [the] bomb” on the front and had the kid’s name and D.O.B. printed on the back. Mom is guilty of no crime but has no common sense. Methinks the French should go about prosecuting the real Muslim fascists who are calling for Jihad in Europe rather than this apolitical woman who thought it would be cute to dress her son in this shirt....
Airhead v agenda......Airhead v agenda...... hmmmmmmmmmmm.
We won't either. We need to lead by example, but have lost the will to stand up to the traitors in our country, the enemies within, and those who want to see a 'fundamental transformation' of this great country.

“Think of what would happen in this country is some kid showed up at school wearing a t-shirt with a picture of Hitler and a reference to the death camps in a humorous light.”
The reaction would probably depend on whether it also referenced Bush or Barry. Honestly I no longer know what a normal reaction would be though I know what it should be.

Actually, France is getting a lot tougher with Muslims than we are. They are starting to realize what a problem they have. The extreme right is growing in influence there.
I go with airhead...after seeing her picture in the article...I assumed she would be in a full burka...instead she looked like your average mom shopping at the mall...
I could be wrong...
.
Well at least the kid did not chew a Pop-Tart into the shape of a pistol!
I like to read the complete article before commenting also, and I still disagree with your assertion that she is an airhead. It is feigned ignorance.
Naming your child “Jihad” when he is born on September 11th is a dead giveaway.
Well, people do name their kids all sort of stupid names for all sorts of dumb reasons...
As for her dress, I would think if she was an Islamic ideologue, she would relish in the flaunting of her convictions by dressing as a Muslim ...
If Voltaire could come back, he’d never stop throwing up.
I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: ‘O Lord, make my enemies ridiculous.’ And God granted it. ~ Voltaire
Feigned ignorance works for me....
