I use AA, AAA, and high powered Ds and that’s what I have to have after a hurricane comes through here. I already have these excellent new batteries in all those sizes. I have a couple of D shells I bought to see what they were and they only take one AA in them and that’s worthless. The rechargeable Ds sold in regular stores are also worthless.

If you read the comments of customers who bought these regular brand name Ds, they didn’t know they had Ds with practically no power in them and they were stuck with these inferior batteries.

I studied batteries on my own for months before I ever talked to you. You have your batteries that work for you and I have mine that work for me. To each his own.

Yes I knew about the weak Ds, that is why I had recommended the Tenergy 10,000mah Ds, or Maha POWEREX 11,000mah Ds to you before you owned any.

As part of my preparedness I own D adapters that use a single AA in case I have only that many batteries left and desperately need something to run for a while, or to use it in a light like my Lightwave 4000, that can probably run for a week on that.

I also have 2aa adapters and use those since they are equal to 50% of a D LSD rechargeable, they work great, and especially in my old lights that I have switched to led.

The three AA to D adapters are difficult to find but they exist.
