Greetings to all canteeners! Winter still is hanging around our country a bit longer than necessary it seems.

Miss Kathy, may I offer my apologies for the delay in responding to the sad news that your father has passed from this life. Knowing how difficult it is to lose a parent, I know you have and WILL HAVE a lot of things to sort out and ponder. My love and condolences to you in the weeks and months ahead. It has been 22 years since my dad left us. Still think of him daily and miss him and yes, still have the boo hoo episodes. It is never easy even when they are quite old, infirm and no longer seem to have a handle on the whos and whats of life. Wish I could offer some sage advise or flip off some really magic words - but I can not. All I can do is let you know I care and like many others here, have walked this road and it is an individual dark journey into night, as Karl Jung offered.

A Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours, Dolly.

Thank you so much. We are doing well, and thankful that The Lord took him Home quickly.
