I caught the local B&N hiding all the gun magazines behind other publications.

On a slightly different but I believe related situation I once was at the SF Public Library looking for “Zebra: The True Account of the 179 Days of Terror in San Francisco.” by Howard Clark. It was listed in the catalog but noted to “see the main desk”. They had a copy but it was held in the back and only brought out for reading 30 minutes at a time. It was not allowed to be checked out.
It was bizarre. It was like I walked into Area 51 and asked to see classified documentation on any alien contact. The book was impossible to buy in SF until I ran across it a used book store.

My thoughts exactly. If he would have done this in LA, there would have been at least 500 rounds fired at him.

Sadly many idiots believe NRA members and pro-2A types will randomly shoot and kill people on the street. They have yet to realize that they are in more danger of begin shot by the police in a big city for no reason, multiple times.

My local B&N hasn’t done that the last few time I have been in. I suspect they have a plan-o-gram on how those racks are suppose to look based on the employee with a clip board rearranging magazines I saw last time.

Let me guess, many of those would be coming from a eeeeevil AR-15 with 30 rd. magazines. Bonus points if more rounds hit random civilians than the suspect.
I winder of the umbrella holder is now more likely to get firearms?

It shows where we really are and is frightening.
Militarization of the police is a prescription for disaster of epic proportions.

Most of them are prolly so stoned they do not notice the rain..............
To: TigersEye
While you're looking for Wasp, also look for Russell's
The Space Willies AKA (slightly lengthened a bit later)
Next of Kin You'll enjoy both.
An aside: his father was a Royal Engineer & instructor at Sandhurst; and he, himself, served in The King's Regiment during the 1920s; then in the Royal Air Force during WWII.
