Earlier this week at the PyCon conference (the largest annual gathering for developers using the open-source Python programming language) a woman named Adria Richards overheard a joke between two men sitting behind her during a crowded presentation.
Richards was offended and took a picture of the two men who were making jokes. She tweeted, "Not cool. Jokes about forking repo's in a sexual way and "big" dongles. Right behind me #pycon." She also attached a photo of the two people making the jokes.

Imagine the response if they discussed that scenario and mentioned the term ‘fork bomb’. She might have had a stroke.
Beavis and Butthead wanted to be overheard, usually people who do things like this take great pride in annoying others. Others came for a conference they can’t hear over the farting from those 2.

When my kids were getting on the social network sites in the early years I warned them to PLEASE be careful what you put on the web. I told them that some things could come back and prevent them from being hired and they would never know why they were rejected. I have never joined ANY of these things. Ugh!

I concur. I think all 3 were less than professional, but that none of the 3 should have been fired. Although, her actions did more to bring her employer into the mix.

From similar experience with other radical feminists looking to make their mark in tech, your way is the best way to handle it..
After a few years, these women start to wonder why no one will work with them, on their product, etc.
