Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) appeared on America's News room this afternoon and declared: Ive got a news flash for those who want to call people names on amnesty what we have now is de facto amnesty, Paul shot back. We have 11 million people here that have been here, some of them for a decade or more. No one is telling them to go home. No one is sending them home.

As a conservative, I feel Rand Paul is fine as a senator, but I would not want him to be POTUS. Paul has too many libertarian views, like dubious on borders, etc..
Even though he introduced a Personhood at Conception bill, he still has a 33% rating with Planned Parenthood. Here’s the proof:

What you said:
This is a real tough one for conservatives.
What you meant:
This is a real tough one for RINOs and the GOPe who want to win any presidential primaries while not getting primaried themselves.
Rand is not trying to chart a middle course. Both the democrats and the RINOs have been running things to the left so long that even Rand Paul’s position is still to the left. If rounding people up and deporting them is to the right, then letting them self deport is the middle course. Any path to anything other than the illegals home country is a commie leftist path.
I don’t understand what it is with you GOPe types. You keep saying it is about rounding people up when you know full well that one of your own, Eisenhower, showed everyone how to do this years ago. It was simple and it worked. Remove the incentive for being here. They will leave on their own.
As opposed to those who run on an amnesty platform and lose?
Since we have not had a viable candidate that ever proposed the un-amnesty position, how do you know?
You lie!
However, they did manage to get here without the government running one bus. They can go home the same way they came, slowly, on their own.
The problem is...you think the GOP wants to sell it.
You owe me a new keyboard. Pepsi flooded it.
All kidding aside, you might want to click my post history to see what my thoughts are on the GOP. But I’ll give you the short version...
It is lousy with liberals, moderates and psuedoConservatives who like to be seen as sitting at the cool kids table. It is bereft of principle, pursuing Democrat goals and anyone still supporting all but probably 5 people in it is contributing to the downfall of America and every bit as much a problem. It needs to be burnt to the ground, plowed under and the earth it sat upon salted and fertilized with plutonium.
And after a couple beers, I might loosen up and tell you what I really think about it.
Sorry about your keyboard.............
Pretty much agree with your post........
I agree with you that that is a step in the mix. We should immediately implement e-verify for job applications. But, remember, many, many of those illegally own their own businesses. E-verify is not going to solve the problem entirely.
Oh, well, your mother wears army boots.
both true, so?
I was telling you, don’t be silly
