A Massachusetts principal has been criticized for canceling his school's Honors Night, saying it could be 'devastating' to the students who worked hard, but fell short of the grades.
MyFoxBoston.com reports that David Fabrizio, principal of Ipswich Middle School, notified parents last week of his plan to eliminate the event.

My wish for asshats like this is one day when he needs brain surgery
in walks one of his former “everyone is a winner” product in a surgeons outfit assigned to him under Nero-Care. Good luck Bucko!
"Don't worry, scrote. There are plenty of 'tards out there living really kick-ass lives. My first wife was 'tarded. She's a pilot now."
Most normal people there want to move to Maryland to get away from it!
I work at a nursing home and I said something to one of the residents about “dinner”. She told me it was “supper” and called me a yankee! LOL The ultimate insult to a Southerner!
Funny thing is, Ipswich isn’t all that liberal. I wonder what the parents think of this?
So did he say it wouldn’t be “devastating” if it was done during the day?
Liberals = liars.
Let’s fire all principals because not everyone can be a principal.
From what I can see they’re learning the basics, reading ,writing and arithmetic. Trust me, in the school system where they are enrolled what you’ve alluded to wouldn’t be tolerated. When my kids were in the high school they studied the Bible in English class.
It does.
I told my kids that if they want to get into the college of their choice, identify themselves as a Muslim transgender.
The quota bells will ring and they will be accepted.
ask them about transgender at school, homosexuals at school, and I guarantee that they have eben taught this .
BTW What town are these kids in?
Most parents have no idea what their kids are being taught and told by teachers, trust me I;m a parents, have lived up there on the south shore and have kids.
How I understand it is “dinner” is lunch and “supper” is the evening meal , which I know as supper.

no more public indoctrination centers.
It really does test my sanity. I find myself ranting more often. Wifey dunna like it.
Immersing myself in local politics and town government helps. That gives a measure of control and has a direct effect on our lives.
Utah or Tennessee are my ultimate goals. Utah if it happens before retirement...Tennessee if it happens after.
I imagine it wasn’t very...diverse.
Hang in there and best wishes. You have a good attitude.
The principal is an idiot.
A news report in New York City more than a decade ago reported on a homeless straight “A” student.
For his first few years in Junior and Senior High no one at school knew he was homeless and he managed to evade hurdles that might have arisen if the school wanted to contact his parents, which seem to have not happened until someone wanted to contact his parents about how great he had been doing for so long.
It turned out he had been abandoned by his single-parent mom some years earlier and he had been living alone in a cardboard shack he built in a six-foot wide space between two building within walking distance of his school.
Someone had been letting him into a nearby YMCA once a day to shower and he was known to have a number of odd jobs in the area.
A young, homeless, “underprivileged” sixteen year-old African-American kid - no crime, no drugs, just straight “As”.
That young man, not the principal’s spineless caving to mediocrity, is the example the kids at his school needed.
what you described is what is known in many cities as “public education” in the U.S.
This “educator” cum principal is such a blithering idiot. I bet if someone searched his/her background, they were at best mediocre at all measures throughout their worthless life. Having nan education degree answers that. I thank God that I do not live in such a LIB-infested state as Massachusetts.
