This is NOT satire. He really did say this. Joe Biden is an embarrassment to the US government and to the Catholic Church. I could shed tears over the appalling things this man says in his capacity as VP. Please Joe, sit down and shut up.

Once Obama threw his support behind the Cardinal, his chances went the way of the Chicago Olympics bid... (sort of like a Sports Illustrated cover jinx)

Yeah, I’m SURE Biden The Slow was privy to the inside decision-making of the conclave. I highly doubt the cardinals were ever close to electing a Pope that comes from this sick, secular society.

Vice President Joseph R. Biden said Wednesday the U.S. almost had a chance at power of the papacy, asserting that Boston Cardinal Sean OMalley nearly got elected pope. We almost made it big, Mr. Biden said. We almost had a chance at power. We came that close, that close. Not even close, Joe.
Bergoglio apparently went through the first round of voting, which took place on Tuesday evening, into the conclave as a leading vote-getter, but a number of other eminences garnered some votes, which were handwritten on Latin ballots with Pilot gel pens. Carlo Marroni, who covers the Vatican for Il Solo 24 Ore, reported that Cardinals Bergoglio, Scola and Marc Ouellet of Canada were the leaders.
-- from the thread Ouellet was an early favourite in conclave vote: report

The worst thing about growing up an American is that when you are a kid you think that those in Washington are our best and brightest but then finding out they are not.
Biden is a small minded person. Yesterday, Harry Reid linked the deaths of Marines in an accident to the sequester. These are not only sickening people they are sick people. Sick in their brains. They are as devoid of humanity as the worst criminals we have in prison.

This is NOT satire. My first reaction on reading the opening was to look again at the headline and news source, suspecting satire. Surely not even Joe Biden would say this?
Hah!
Every day, and in every way, he is getting stupider and stupider.

In their minds everything is there to be used by them, to be twisted, manipulated, perverted for their benefit.

I'm reminded of the comment that John Kerry made in reference to being behind Bush in the polls. Something along the line of, "How can I be losing to someone so stupid". Today that question should be, "How in God's name did Obozo and Biden get elected ---------- Twice???????
Both these men are dumb as fence posts.
