The Democrats knew what they were doing when they deferred the implementation of most provisions of Obamacare until after the 2012 election. What is surprising, really, is that Obamacare has been so unpopular, given that most of its baleful effects have not yet been felt. But it won’t be long now. The Associated Press reports that health insurers are warning of massive price increases beginning next year:
Some Americans could see their insurance bills double next year as the health care overhaul law expands coverage to millions of people.

This should disqualify all Democrats running in the 2014 elections. It should be a blood bath.
There should be a mass revolt by state and local governments and individuals to completely stop this travesty in its tracks. Just don’t comply with any of the Obamacare edicts.
They will be told that it is the fault of evil greedy white male Republican fat cat insurance companies, and the Republicans will cower and utter nary a peep.

Good news if true. Boner, McConnell and their merry men will do nothing about Obamacare because they are too busy trying to figure out how to take our guns, get rid of the need for voter fraud by adding 20 million new citizens to the Democrat voter roles, recognize men as the new wife and mother and women as the new husband and father, and shred the rest of our Constitution before the elections.
The Democrats and their lapdogs in much of the media will probably try to blame this on republicans.
Never-forget they are pathologically incapable of accepting responsibility for their own actions no matter how insane the other explication is.

Medicare is supposed to pay for elderly health care expenses, via the taxes from years of prepaid workers premiums.
Medicaid is an unfunded federal program, that drains the “funds” of all past, current and future Medicare payers, for political reasons.
All the greedy old people who have pre-paid their medical expenses via taxes for several decades, must now step aside, because the feds spent the money on other people?

Pelosi falsified data and essentially LIED to Congress to get 0bamacare passed. May she ROT in hell and when she finally does leave this world may her children and grandchildren get ROTTEN health care for the rest of their lives.

I understand your thinking, and have 40+ years of contributions myself, but the typical Medicare recipient receives about $4 in service for each dollar put in.

It should, but the Republicans are disqualifying themselves with their cave in on amnesty for illegals.
For the 2014 and 2016 elections, just stay home and enjoy the day. It no longer matters who’s in charge.
I suspect that figure will go up in the near future NOT because of the elderly Medicare recipients, but rather those who have flooded the social security disability plan when they could not find a job and their unemployment ran out. They are eligible for medicare after 2 years.
You do realize that medicare part B is subtracted from the retiree's social security check (about $110 monthly now) and we also pay for supplemental plans.
To date, Medicare has paid for one pneumonia shot and three flu shots for me. Total expenditures.
