The dramatic shift in the Republican Party on immigration continued Tuesday, as Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a conservative tea party icon and possible 2016 presidential contender, endorsed an overhaul of the nation’s immigration laws that would allow the nation’s estimated 11 million illegal immigrants to obtain legalized status. “Immigration will not occur until conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. That’s why I’m here today: to begin that conversation and become part of the solution,” he said in a breakfast speech Tuesday morning before the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Washington.

Contrast to Paul which raised an eyebrow when he said he is the new GOP.

Because high school never ended for many of them. They like being ‘seen’ as something they aren’t. They can come here and claim to be conservative to fit in. But the mask slipps, ego takes over and when called on the fraud of their ‘beliefs’ they get full liberal offended.
On the other hand, there are a number of DU Trolls that are goos at what they do to cause as much strif as possible. you can tell who they are as they go after those of us unwilling to back off. Within 5 posts they are guaranteed to take a long held conservative ideal and deride it as ‘purist’. Then go on a spree of personal attacks across several threads.
Then there are the paid Dems who obviously do it for the money.
Regardless, the end result is the same. Even if it’s hard to tell one from the other.
Some people just haven't figured out that the political party with the most members and the biggest convention is the one with the best ideas.

Conservatives had better wake up and fight these people who come to our party, demand we change to suit them and regardless of where they stand on taxes there are many other issues.

Too late. The party is filled with libs from janitor to Speaker. There is no worse way to waste time and resource than fighting to take it back. Leave it to rot. Take that time and resource to build one we can believe in and work through.

And to those who say that it is “too expensive” to ship them all out... well, just imagine how much we will be saving once they are out of our system (free school/medcare/housing/free-cheap tuition, and on ad-infinitum).
Heck.. I don’t even LIVE in the states any-more and I still have to pay taxes here AND back in the states (USA is the only country in the world that does that, btw)... So, I literally am having to pay for them too.
