The scare tactics that Democrats from President Obama on down have employed to wring political benefit out of the sequester have apparently hit a despicable new low. In comments made about the deaths overnight of seven U.S. Marines in a training incident in Nevada, Dem Senator Harry Reid reportedly suggested that we may see more such incidents because the sequester cuts put Marines at risk.
NBC military correspondent Jim Miklaszewski, appearing on Andrea Mitchell's MSNBC show this afternoon, reported that the Marines have strongly rejected Reid's claim, and that one Marine official accused Reid of "pure political posturing on the backs of these dead Marines." Check back soon for the video.
Miklaszewski made his stunning remarks while speaking to Luke Russert, hosting in the absence of Mitchell, who is in the Middle East with President Obama.

These days, everyone is posturing on the backs of our dead heroes.
Disgusting, ghoulish, and reprehensible.
But that’s Washington now.
Most of the military will stand with the American people against the Democrats.
That hag Mitchell would have never allowed this rebuttal from the Marines.
There’s no way to spin this, so it will just be ignored.
The latest from the loathsome Harry Reid. Ping to Today show list.
Parading the corpses for political gain. Just part of the heritage of muslims and the democrat party.
FUBO, FAD, & down with the democrat party
What a miserable excuse for a human being.
Disgusting, ghoulish, and reprehensible.
Even the Whores from Harry Reid's "Searchlight" have more class than he.
I look forward to the day that Harry Reid suffers from a full vegetable making stroke.
So, is Harry Reid suffering from Dementia? Alzheimers? Mental disorder? If this guy says another dumb thing, the people of Nevada should remove him by force for medical reasons of insanity
The RATS push gun control by exploiting dead children, why wouldn’t they push higher taxes by exploiting dead Marines?
