The Republican National Committees Growth and Opportunity Projecta self-assessment of the GOPs 2012 performance, released Mondaydiagnoses the party with a dire messaging problem, among other potentially life-threatening woes. But the surprising news from the report? It supports comprehensive immigration reform.
The study says that the GOP must embrace and champion reform, or fall victim to shrinking constituencies. We also believe that comprehensive immigration reform is consistent with Republican economic policies that promote job growth and opportunity for all, the report says.
The GOP is famously divided over the immigration issue. Some prominent Republicans have voiced their support, like Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla.both of whom represent states with significant Hispanic and Latino populations. (In Arizona, 30% of people identify as Hispanic or Latino, as do 23% in Florida, versus 16.7% of the national population). Others, like Jeb Bush, have bobbled, while Mitt Romneys staunch conservative stance on immigration reform cost him Latino votes in 2012.

Amnesty without the freebies to a Democrat is DOA but they would make sure the GOP got the blame.
There is no other way to say it appropriately, so I’m just gonna say it:
The GOP Ruling Class are the Judenrat for the MarxoFascists, and they are going to help Obama eradicate Conservatives.
Unless Conservatives get the hell out of that party while the getting is still possible.
Come now KC, It’s unAmerican to speak such blasphemy. We must doo what the psudeoCons tell us and wote GOP no matter how left they go.
And you are a traitor if you don’t.
Because whenever a Dem and Repub do the exact same thing, it’s always OK when the Repub does it.
Every time any group of people have been promised freebies by a political party then they flock to that party. Nothing Conservative about that.
Edit: Wote = Vote
Frankly too many of these people grew up in countries where Socialism is popular ~ not because it delivers anything but they'll kill you if you don't believe in it.
Besides sending them back home we probably need to stop letting any of them in until they figure out that this country is not about Socialism. That they got. We want something else and that ain't it.
they say it’s just not feasible to deport 20m illegals....
yet they have no problem with the thought of forcing participation or imprisoning 20-200m people if they don’t pay for 0bamacare
the GOPe is just another group of power hungry big govt progressives
The new name should describe what the party leaders want the party to become.
Smething like "Democrats 2" would be just the ticket.
We don’t and haven’t had two parties for a long time. FUGOP
There is no leadership coming from the GOP since Reagan left office. No one has the moxie to stand up and tell the American people what the realities are. No on in the GOP has any moxie to counter the lies told by the “progressives” about conservatives. When all the rhetoric is coming from only one side of the “debate”, and they are the only ones who are framing the “debate”, there is no win for conservatives.
“If the Republicans behave like Democrats, why do we need two parties?”
BINGO! You are the winner. You have posed the question of the year.
This is the GOPe report... They lost by not being conservative. All wrong conclusions. I’m really “done” with the GOP... I’ll only support conservatives, never again a party.

Watch the GOP now prance around with every minority they can find that will be their buddy.
I am SURE I made a couple of posts like that towards the end of the Primary... but was laughed out (and/or called a “purist”).. I saw it coming, as well as several others here.
As an old white guy, I’m offended by the GOP report.
they say its just not feasible to deport 20m illegals....
Well, the opposite of purity is corruption.....
Behold the only time you will ever see those four words used consecutively.
