Uncommon Knowledge — Hoover Institution, Stanford University ^ | March 17, 20013 | GoodDay

Posted on 03/17/2013 8:12:26 PM PDT by GoodDay

This week on Uncommon Knowledge, US senator Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) discusses his first two months in office and his vision for the Republican Party. (36:13)

“I think the biggest divide is not even a divide between Republicans and Democrats; it's a divide between the people. And [between] the entrenched elites in Washington that are growing their own power. And I think there is an incredible desire to get back to commonsense conservative principles.”

I only mashed the button once and never re edited the original post.

My finger seems to be smoking for some odd reason though.

That was not Ted’s best forum.

I love the guy when he just stays on point without accusations or fanfare.

Solid and steadfast, without roiling up the other side, but keeps at them in a respectful way.

The man is relentless.

God Speed Ted Cruz.

Yes, Ted seems to be honest and articulate.

I do think he needs to take his own tips on being articulate to the folks at the bottom, but over all, he is a great breath of fresh air...don't you agree?

I think Ted could have explained the jack in the minimum wage better.

The folks at the bottom who are working get Temporary relief and then they get squeezed.

The middle class gets squeezed too.

The only jackasses that benefit are union jackasses that have their wages tied to the minimum wage.

For the rest of us we get squeezed.
