This week on Uncommon Knowledge, US senator Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) discusses his first two months in office and his vision for the Republican Party. (36:13)
I think the biggest divide is not even a divide between Republicans and Democrats; it's a divide between the people. And [between] the entrenched elites in Washington that are growing their own power. And I think there is an incredible desire to get back to commonsense conservative principles.

I was kinda hoping Ted Cruz would make the 100th post.
That’s the worst I’ve ever seen! LOL
And I get embarrassed when I do two.
Que pasa?
I only mashed the button once and never re edited the original post.
My finger seems to be smoking for some odd reason though.
Hmmphh
I refer to that problem as finger stutter- truly impressive :)
well you’ll be part of Freeper lore....LOL
I swear! It was the ghost in the machine!
I was just sitting here scratching my head and making a comment.
I would rather not.
back to the matter at hand.
Ted Cruz is the real deal as near as I can tell.
That was not Ted’s best forum.
I love the guy when he just stays on point without accusations or fanfare.
Solid and steadfast, without roiling up the other side, but keeps at them in a respectful way.
The man is relentless.
God Speed Ted Cruz.
I do think he needs to take his own tips on being articulate to the folks at the bottom, but over all, he is a great breath of fresh air...don't you agree?
I think that’s a record!
I do. LOL
ROFLOL!
I urge you all to watch the original interview.
God Bless Ted Cruz.
“oh, the NY times think they have a hammer, but they have a daffodil”
Gotcha!
Ah the gremlin excuse- was it the green gremlin with the roman style helmet, LOL - everytime someone blames the gremlin I flash on the gremlin from bugs bunny- cracks me up.
Sorry my bad, you are blaming the ghost
I am so easily amused at this hour of the morning
I’m gonna go get a bite of pie and hit the rack.
I think Ted could have explained the jack in the minimum wage better.
The folks at the bottom who are working get Temporary relief and then they get squeezed.
The middle class gets squeezed too.
The only jackasses that benefit are union jackasses that have their wages tied to the minimum wage.
For the rest of us we get squeezed.
