Republican strategist Karl Rove responded to the harsh comments former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin had for him at CPAC on Fox News Sunday this morning. Before taking a shot at Palin for not completing her term as governor, he said that Palin was actually in agreement with him on former Senate candidate Todd Akin and that he actually works pro bono for American Crossroads.
[....]
Rove continued that Palin endorsed in primaries and got involved in other races around so he didnt understand what the problem was with other people doing the same thing. He defended his work for American Crossroads saying he doesnt take a dime from my work with them and actually pays all of his travel expenses for the group out of his own pocket. Im thought Sarah Palin was about encouraging grassroots activity. Im a volunteeer, said Rove.
Then he took a shot across her bow.
I appreciate her encouragement that I ought to go home to Texas and run for office. I would be enthused if I ran for office to have her support but I dont think, Im a particularly good candidate, a balding fat guy. Second of all, if I did run for office and win I would serve out my term and I wouldnt leave office midterm, said Rove.

Karl would rather stab real candidates in the back, than get out front and take his own licking.
I hate it when so-called Republicans use Democrats’ talking points to attack other Republicans. Really Karl? Sarah should have completed her term with bogus lawsuits hitting her every other day that she had to defend with her own money? If I ever felt any shred of understanding toward Karl, this comment just shows him to be the cynical politician that his actions show him to be.
Go away Karl.
Now.
I think it finally happened -Karl is toast.
The fact that Rove had to respond shows he’s on the losing side of this. The “quitter” mantra was the clincher.
It was Rove and buddies at the RNC that abandoned Palin when she was 600K in debt from bogus ethics charges, had her family torn into, rumors/innuendo, the state senate locking her out of the legislative process and so forth.
It was Rove backing losers in 2012 with a track record of 7-34 (with $400 million in funding which turned out to be a “skimming off the top” scam).
Rove, you’re like cockroaches on a Greyhound bus. I ain’t getting on that thing ever again!!!
Are you really that ignorant Karl?
I suspect that Karl knows damn well that Democrats were swamping Palin with lawsuits, that made governance impossible.
Go back to the Whig Table and let the Big Girls do the talking from now on okay Karl?!?
Stick a fork in Rove, his career now is officially OVER!
Tokyo Rove needs to get bent.
He is exactly what is wrong with the GOP, today.
He would do better than he would do in Texas!
Let Karl wallow in his misery. He and his authoritarian ilk are finally feeling the backlash.
When do you think Hannity will find out?
We remember what Karl did to Christine O’Donnell.
How does it feel, Karl?
And does Karl actually expect anyone to believe that he is volunteering his time and services with his Crossroads outfit?
Puh-leeze!
And he also needs to go educate himself on what happened in Alaska:
Palin, the Alaska Bloggers and "Ethicsgate"
Oh wait...he already knows:
Next for GOP leaders: Stopping Sarah Palin
Screw you, Karl!
Rove is way to stuck up to get a standing ovation just by sipping a Big Gulp. He’s jealous.
OH SNAP!!I couldn’t lay off the pig = Rove!!!
