CPAC and the Conservatives
Accuracy in Media ^ | March 6, 2013 | Cliff Kincaid

The term “gay conservative” is being used by some news outlets in connection with the upcoming Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) and whether certain homosexual groups should be invited to appear. There is no such thing as a “gay conservative,” unless the term “conservative” has lost all meaning. But there is a homosexual movement that has its roots in Marxism and is characterized by anti-Americanism and hatred of Christian values.

Two of this movement’s members, Bradley Manning and Floyd Corkins, have recently been in the news. Manning betrayed his country in the WikiLeaks scandal, while Corkins has pleaded guilty to trying to kill conservative officials of the Christian Family Research Council in Washington, D.C.

Rather than debate whether “gay conservatives” exist or ought to have prominent speaking roles, CPAC should be sponsoring a panel on the dangers of the homosexual movement and why some of its members seem prone to violence, terror, and treason.

This column has conservative pundits up in arms over on Twitchy: Headdesk: Accuracy in Media writer claims, ‘There’s no such thing as a gay conservative’

Rather than debate the author's points, they seem to be more interested in attacking him as a bigot. Another example of the right using the left's tactics against someone with which they disagree.

No wonder the liberals are winning.

So everybody with a twitter account is a pundit?

Are they all the GOP-elite as well?

I don’t doubt that there are gay conservatives but true gay conservatives don’t declare their sexuality as the defining issue of their lives.

Since being “outed” by militant gays, Pima county Sheriff Paul Babeu has continued on with his life and was reelected as sheriff.

The media and the left are doing this more and more, combining a contradiction with conservative, which in time will destroy the word conservative.

Gay-conservative, Libertarian/conservative.

Exactly. I know two gay conservatives. Believe me, they are conservative by any standard. They want small government. While they’d probably vote for gay marriage if it was brought up as a state referendum, they oppose gay marriage legislation at the federal level and are against gay marriage being imposed by judges. They are against most of the rest of the gay agenda, including gay hate crimes. They are two men who are very successful who happen to be gay. We don’t need to be pushing people like this out of the “conservative” camp by declaring no gay can be conservative or that all gays are perverts. Being gay is not a choice. Something happened to these people at a very early age — perhaps even genetically — and they are gay. They didn’t wake up one day and want to be gay.

Terrific article. It is a sign of honor that these people who dare to speak the Truth are targeted. We should always watch them more closely if this happens; these are the people who really understand AND who have the courage to step out in these dark times.

I just have no use for those who make a sexual declaration before everything they do. That tells me that they’re pushing an agenda.

One of my oldest friends is gay but says its no one’s business and has a deep hatred of gay advocacy groups. He says that trying to force the world to accept a small segment of society’s wishes only leads to strife.

“We don’t need to be pushing people like this out of the “conservative” camp by declaring no gay can be conservative or that all gays are perverts.”

I have issues with your entire post, but the part where you assert that not all homosexuals are perverts seems perplexing.

Are you aware of the kind of behavior homosexuals engage in on a fairly regular basis? By any objective measure it is sick and repulsive; not to mention physically and emotionally unhealthy.

Sorry, no sale.

The Libertarians and stupid kids that inhabit Twitchy were all aghast at the article. Twitchy and AmCon magazine are proof that anyone can call themselves conservative these days. The word is ceasing to lose it’s meaning. It’s becoming shorthand for “not a Democrat”.

Do you include women in that assessment? I also don’t think we should be pushing gay conservatives out of the party and know several of them too. I wouldn’t call them any more perverted than lots of men I know.

“No wonder the liberals are winning. “

The liberals are winning because they’ve taken over every so called ‘conservative’ entity, like CPAC. A few gays in the mix concerns me a lot less than a handful of amoral, radical islamist loving, open border K st. lobbyists running everything from the NRA to the ACU!

However, in the interests of “accuracy”, I will say most of the tweets listed appear to originate from folks with a strong libertarian bent.

Which would explain their POV.

One correction: The great sheriff Paul Babeu is the Pinal County Sheriff; we in Pima County have blowhard Clarence Dupnik who blamed the Tea Party for the Giffords shooting.

To answer you I'll just say that I agree with Mr. Kincaid's article in general, and to your point I would just parrot the following paragraph from above: I would also add that it's a disgrace that the homosexual agenda is pushed in public schools harder every year, and beginning at a younger age almost every year.

This was the paragraph I was referring to. I don’t know why it didn’t carry down into the post. Hopefully this one will.

The gop-e and others in the republican party are trying to get homosexual marriage passed so it is not an issue at the next election. Others on the right are doing it for personal reasons. They or someone they know is gay and they believe in God and falsely think calling it marriage would make it right in God's eyes. Marriage was created by God NOT any government (see my comment below) They would sell their own kids and mothers to get it; which is what they are doing.

So many people are stupid enough to believe that when homosexuals get their perverted form of marriage it will be over. The evil will only have just begun. Look at who the man is who started the push for homosexual marriage is:

It should be no surprise to learn that Harry Hay, founder of the modern “gay rights” movement, was a member of the Communist Party USA and that the FBI maintained a file on him. Hay was also a vocal supporter of the NORTH AMERICAN MAN/BOY LOVE ASSOCIATION. But the homosexuals constantly tell us, of course, that there is no connection between homosexuality and pedophilia.
(taken from the AIM article)

Look at Britain and other countries and even people here; they are trying to get the age of consent lowered to 12. They have done polling which -they say- says the kids want it lowered. My grandmother did not believe the government would allow people to kill babies in the womb. Years ago my mother said no one would allow homosexuals to marriage. God help us what will come next if we allow this. One other thought. Everyone agrees that historically, marriage began in the Bible/Torah. Many call it a blessed sacrament. What happened to separation of church and state the left is always screaming about? Why is the aclu and the atheist ok with the government adopting something that had it's roots in religion? I'll tell you why, because they don't want homosexual marriage. They want to destroy marriage and belief in God.
