CARACAS (Reuters) - Venezuelan acting President Nicolas Maduro said on Wednesday that "far right" figures in the United States were plotting to kill opposition leader Henrique Capriles.

"We have detected plans by the far-right, linked to the groups of (former Bush administration officials) Roger Noriega and Otto Reich, to make an attempt against the opposition presidential candidate," Maduro said in a televised speech.

Does this not sound like Chavista thug Maduro is already lining up his excuse in case harm befalls Capriles? Too bad for Maduro that he is too much of a thug to be subtle about it. Hey, Maduro. If harm comes to Capriles only the useful idiots of the far left will pretend to buy your excuse.

Yeah, it’s like Maduro is already threatening to kill Capriles and then blame it on the “far right” in the USA.

Nope..its just about right. Stupid Latins have fallen for this crap for generations. There has been a handful of actual leaders out of SA...only one that stands way above the crowd in Uribe of Colombia.

It begets the question:

What interest would it serve for the US to kill and opposition candidate in Venezuela ? Unless he was an out and out Communist. Which, last I read he was not.

You’re correct that this Maduro cat is looking to “off” Capriles and blame it on the US, because Maduro knows he’s done after the election.

Won’t surprise me if Maduro dresses up some Venezuelans in Hawaiian shirts and bermuda shorts to loudly pose as “grassy knoll” gringos in the days ahead so he can have his excuse ready made. Oh, and make sure those “gringos” are carrying around copies of National Review.

I heard Maduro was somewhat dull-witted but I never realized how clueless he was until this.

Well, you know this must be a spoof because they said this fictional “far-right” group was connected to George “Amnesty for Illegals!” Bush, who was anything BUT far-right.
