the “power” in commierado is in denver, boulder, front range i-25 corridor. the rest of the state is different. poilitically this place has deteriated worse than the titanic wreck in the 25 years i have been here. if i could ever figure out how to post a pic from photobucket here i would post some of my new commierado flags.

People and businesses are going vote with their feet because of gun rights, taxes, 0-care and a whole host of other liberty issues. Unfortunately a great western state like CO is on tract to become a Leftist wasteland given enough time. Conservatives need to aggregate in conservative states to form an effective resistance to the Leftist tyranny.

—believe me, they should have closed the gate right after I arrived in Leadville in 1960—nothing has happened since that was positive-—

We were warned in the late 80s & early 90s but we refused to listen and now; Colorado is totally, completely and irreparably Californicated.

Try building something, drilling/mining or starting a tiny manufacturing shop on private property on the Range. The regulations and impact fees are shockers to new residents. It's NIMBY Central--worse than Pueblo with NIMBYs (where quite a few people pushed for a uranium test drill on the Range banned by locals on the Range. Extreme environmentalism everywhere and some weird kind of animal worship.

One of the few real ranchers remaining (most others being government/corporate operations steeped in debt) had all of his cattle and equipment confiscated, was incarcerated, sued, etc., under the new animal protection law (Animal Protection Act or something like that) after losing some of the cattle (numbers hugely inflated by authorities) to a bad run of spraying ice and extremely cold temps during the spring.
