Outdoor Channel Blacklists Colorado Over Gun Control Laws
Godfather Politics ^ | 3/12/13 | da Tagliare

Living in the Southwest for most of my life, I’ve seen just how many people go to Colorado to hunt, fish, ski, hike, camp and sight see. Combined together, these activities generate millions of dollars for businesses as well as the state government.

Yet, the controlling Democrats are willing to lose a large portion of that revenue and place many businesses in jeopardy, just to push Obama’s anti-gun policies. A couple of major businesses are already looking to relocate out of the state because of the recently passed and newly proposed anti-gun laws.

This Coloradan is thinking about Texas. These new so-called “gun control” laws are nothing more nor nothing less than an expression of white hot blind hatred of the Second Amendment and all us ordinary people who believe it means exactly what it says.

“Good, let them all leave. CO can be a “gun free zone”. Let’s see how high crime will sky rocket if they pass these laws.”

yep and we have legalized marijuana so teen age smoking has increased, the idiots who proposed it haven’t as yet figured out what driving under it’s influence is, and denver may try to reverse the state law since crime has already increased in denver because of it. ironic since magpul can ship 30 rounds to any colorado address EXCEPT denver.
not to mention grandfathering older 30 rounf magazines. how are they even going to know when a magazine was bought? how are they going to know if i sell a gun to my neighbor? oh and as someone else mentioned, if they are doing a background check on whether i can own a legal firearm why do they need the make, moddel and serial number?
bastards

"...the “power” in commierado is in denver, boulder, front range i-25 corridor. the rest of the state is different."

Try building something, drilling/mining or starting a tiny manufacturing shop on private property on the Range. The regulations and impact fees are shockers to new residents. It's NIMBY Central--worse than Pueblo with NIMBYs (where quite a few people pushed for a uranium test drill on the Range banned by locals on the Range. Extreme environmentalism everywhere and some weird kind of animal worship.

One of the few real ranchers remaining (most others being government/corporate operations steeped in debt) had all of his cattle and equipment confiscated, was incarcerated, sued, etc., under the new animal protection law (Animal Protection Act or something like that) after losing some of the cattle (numbers hugely inflated by authorities) to a bad run of spraying ice and extremely cold temps during the spring.
