Senate Democrats join push to cut Obama’s illegal immigrant advocate
The Washington Times ^ | March 13, 2013 | Stephen Dinan

Buried inside the Senate’s massive spending bill is a provision eliminating the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Public Advocate — an office President Obama created just last year to hear complaints about how immigrants were being treated.

“With illegal immigration costing U.S. taxpayers roughly $113 billion each year, one of the last things we should be doing with precious taxpayer dollars is funding an activist for illegal and criminal immigrants who are detained or have been ordered to be deported,” said Rep. Diane Black, the Tennessee Republican who has led the fight to cancel the office’s funding.

“The administration needs to instead be using this money for its intended purpose of securing our borders and combating illegal immigration,” she said.

“The answer in Washington for decades on illegal immigration was to throw money at ICE and enforcement and now that we are in austere times, they are cutting one of the essential programs at ICE that actually works,” said Rep. Luis V. Gutierrez, Illinois Democrat. “The only hope for recourse when enforcement goes bad is to call on the ICE Public Advocate, which seems to me like an essential tool in holding ICE accountable to the public.”

But Chris Crane, president of the National ICE Council, the union representing 7,600 ICE officers and agents, called the Public Advocate office “nothing but waste, fraud and abuse” and said “we applaud Congress‘ efforts to defund the program.”

Good news. Rep. Gutierrez never saw an illegal alien he didn't like.

This is not a surprise. The Senate bill gives amnesty to all these illegals. And Boehner has made comments that the Senate amnesty plan would pass in the House with a RAT-RINO coalition. So this is not a surprise.

Crickets.

One thing the liberals and RINOs and GOPe can come to a consensus on is amnesty for illegal mexican labor. And here everyone thought that the socialists were going to take over. They were close, but the villians working here are called fascists. Just remember, these illegals will do the jobs (including yours) that Americans aren’t willing to do, at least not under indentured servitude.

Europe is being overrun by muslims, we’re being overrun by mexicans and chinese. When is western civilization ever going to learn?

REALTIME STORY OF SUB-PRIME MORTGAGES--MASSIVE MORTGAGE FRAUD ON CAPITOL HILL:

The Congressional Hispanic Institute, Inc, is an entity organized by Cong Joe Baca (D-Cali) in his capacity as head of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

Cong Baca created "HOGAR" (Spanish for home) in 2003 to work with the mortgage industry, F/M, lenders, banks and latino community groups to increase mortgage lending to what savvy observers consider to be unqualified Latinos.

"HOGAR" colluded w/ Cong Baca in what was to become a massive bilking of taxpayers. Cong Baca calculatedly hyped the fact that the national Latino homeownership rate was 47%, compared with 68% for the overall population.

HOGAR was coached to call the figure "alarming," and to say "a concerted effort was required to ensure that by the end of the decade Latinos will share equally in the American Dream of home ownership."

HOGAR and Cong Baca conned the public, failing to note that most of the "dreamers" were illegals, citizens of Third World countries who had violated US borders.

Predictably, HOGAR colluded w/ co-conspirators which included:

(a) shaky mortgage companies that ran into big trouble;

(b) Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, both now under federal control after billions in taxpayer bailouts;

(c) Countrywide Financial Corp., sold to Bank of America Corp;

(d) Washington Mutual Inc., taken over by the US government and sold to J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.; and,

(e) New Century Financial Corp. and Ameriquest Mortgage Corp, both now defunct, killed by defaulted subprime Latino mortgages.

HOGAR's ties to the subprime mortgage industry were substantial. Bribery and self-dealing were rampant:

<><> Companies that donated $150,000 to Cong Baca got the right to have their own research fellow who would conduct fraudulent studies, which were cunningly used by industry lobbyists to pump lending.

<><> Bribery and extortion in the form of $100,000 annual donations to Cong Baca, for which HOGAR provided phony news releases from Cong Baca's Hispanic Caucus promoting a lender's commercial products to the Latino market,

<><> The most shocking example of bribery well-substantitated by Hogar's literature..... HOGAR announced it worked with Freddie Mac on a self-serving two-year examination of Latino homeownership in 63 congressional districts.

The "study" found Hispanic ownership on the rise thanks to "new flexible mortgage loan products" that the industry was adopting at the urging of Cong Baca's collusive coterie.

<><> HOGAR conned lenders into even more lenient down-payment and underwriting standards.

<><> As the subprime debacle unfolded, HOGAR declined repeated requests for comment despite the economic havoc their activities precipitated.

The mortgage schemes demonstrated the criminal activities of border violators with multiple identities---perhaps violent, terrorist-connected foreigners---colluding and conspiring to defraud private companies and public entities. And mortgage racketeering enterprises which employed sub rosa finance and business practices to carry out deceptions and frauds.

The alleged ring of swindlers---a Congresman, individuals with multiple identities, banks, insurance companies, mortgage nrokers--might be charged with cheating the US govt, taxpayers and bank share holders out of hundreds of millions of dollars via an elaborate web of mortgage and bank frauds.

The mortgage Dreamers used multiple phony identities, fraudulent Social Security numbers, purchased from identity forgers in order to obtain govt-subsidized benefits.

L/E will find that individuals with multiple identities obtained fraudulent mortgages then flipped the houses at ever-higher prices to family member who then absconded to foreign countries, sticking banks (and taxpayers) with hundreds of millions in fraudulent mortgages.

BACKGROUND A Wall Street Journal investigative report related that, according to the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council examination of the borrowing spree, uncovered financial schemes by low-income housing groups, Hispanic lawmakers, a congressional Hispanic housing initiative, mortgage lenders and brokers, all colluding in fraduent schemes to increase homeownership among Latinos with forged documents which enabled massive fraud.

This was not simply the mortgage market at work. It was fueled by avarice, greed, and Congressional enabling fraudulent practices. In 2005 alone, mortgages to Hispanics jumped by 29%; Latinos with multiple fraudulent identities in low-paying jobs obtained subprime mortgages for prime properties---soaring to 169%.

(Research provided by Wall Street Journal. Some material excerpted from the NY Times).

Compelling questions need to be asked WRT Third World countries making deals (for yes votes on amnesty). These impoverished countries have cunningly determined that amnestizing their pressure groups on US soil forces vote-crazed US politicians to handover zillions in foreign aid.

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus should be throughly investigated.

=================================================

The financial benefits to be derived from amnesty are huge--establishing a permanent Dem majority of Third World "pressure groups" exchanging votes at the ballot box for foreign aid.

IMPOVERISHED THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES W/ PRESSURE GROUPS IN THE US (here illegally): Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico (stateside), Salvador, Spain, Uruguay, Venezuela.

======================================================

WHAT KIND OF FOREIGN FINANCIAL DEALS will vote-crazed US politicians get in exchange for yes votes on amnesty? And who are their co-conspirators?

LET'S LOOK AT THE TAX-EXEMPTS (1) The National Association of Latino Electoral and Appointed Officials, (2) La Raza, (3) Voto Latino, (4) The Congressional Hispanic Caucus, (5) state Hispanic Federations,(6) latino PAC's, etc ,etc, etc (all pushing free-for-all amnesty). These people need to come clean WRT quid pro quo sub deals made with foreign governments.

We need to see their financial records-- copies of (1) checks, (2) wire transfers, (3) bank account statements, (4) invoices, (5) bills, (6) delivery tickets, (7) correspondence including e-mail, employment contracts, loan agreements, (8) any other books or records.

Scrutinize n/p bank accounts for suspicious activites: (A) large deposits, (B) funds transferred from one account into another, (C) request for withdrawals, (D) offsore activity. Also lists of monies n/p paid to (a) brokers, sub-brokers, (b) family members, (c) mortgage brokers, (d) financial managers, and, (e) real estate agents, brokers, and developers, and the like.

REFERENCE Taxpayers could then sue banks holding tax-exempt monies that cover-up tax fraud. Under the Bank Secrecy Act passed by Congress, banks are required to establish, implement and maintain programs designed to detect and report suspicious activity indicative of money laundering, tax evasion, govt fraud and other financial crimes.

“The Bank Secrecy Act was enacted to protect the tax-paying public from harm by identifying and detecting money laundering from criminal enterprises, govt fraud, tax evasion, and other unlawful activities,” explained the special agent in charge for Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigations.

Rep. Gutierrez never saw an illegal alien he didn't like.

...and the Marxist twit absolutely adores terrorists...

In 1999 Gutierrez worked with fellow Puerto Rico-connected lawmakers and Progressive Caucus members Nydia Velazquez and Jose Serrano to pressure President Bill Clinton (through Deputy Attorney General Eric Holder) to free 16 convicted FALN terrorists. Gutierrez pressed Clinton to pardon even those FALN members who refused to express remorse for their terrorist acts.

This Marxist twit sounds like he belongs in a federal slammer instead of the House of Representatives.

I bookmarked that site from your post yesterday, it’s a great source!

Jim, you asked a couple days ago what I thought of Rubio...here ya go.

This is about a month old, but wasn’t posted, and everyone needs to read it. It gives insight into big amnesty boss Grover Norquist, but also Marco Rubio, who according to the article, refused to allow what he called ‘anti immigrant’ groups such as Numbers USA, the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), and the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) a voice in the discussion. Rubio & Norquist are both aligned with SPLC on this one and are using SPLC material and propaganda to silence them!

Effort to change immigration law sparks internal battle within GOP

http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/effort-to-change-immigration-law-sparks-internal-battle-within-gop/2013/02/13/2916d164-740a-11e2-aa12-e6cf1d31106b_print.html

[snip].

Conservatives who are taking on the groups, including Rubio, anti-tax activist Grover Norquist and officials of the Catholic Church, argue that the three organizations are motivated by far different philosophies than many of their Republican allies realize.

Rubio’s aides last week brought one of the organizers of the effort to undermine the groups, Mario H. Lopez, a party strategist on Hispanic politics, to a regular meeting of GOP Senate staffers, at which Lopez distributed literature about the groups’ backgrounds and connections. Rubio also raised concerns about the groups’ leanings during a recent conference call on immigration with conservative activists.

Rubio’s spokesman, Alex Conant, said the senator “has argued that some groups that oppose legal immigration should not be considered part of the conservative coalition,”

AND a followup to this article:

Grover Norquist Attempting to Smear Anti-Amnesty Groups as Leftist Eugenicists

http://frontpagemag.com/2013/dgreenfield/grover-norquist-attempting-to-smear-anti-amnesty-groups-as-leftist-eugenicists/

February 15, 2013

[snip]At the heart of the attack is the accusation that the leading members of some groups critical of immigration policy were or still are environmentalists and liberals. This attack piggybacks on earlier work by the Southern Poverty Law Center that used some of the same information to accuse those groups of being tied to Neo-Nazi and White Supremacist groups.

There’s something rather strange when “conservative sites” not only begin advocating for illegal alien amnesty, but begin repeating the claims that the Center for American Progress, Mother Jones and the Southern Poverty Law Center were making about anti-immigration groups 5-10 years ago.

The same Norquist tactics being used to attack the anti-immigration movement can and will be used to attack the Counterjihadist camp.
