One of the disturbing things about Newtown is that no security camera footage was ever released, the parents were not even allowed to see their children one last time to say good-bye (or to give positive identification), and all caskets were closed at the funeral.
Quite inconsistent with protocol in similar tragedies.

Your statement is untrue. I read an article of one mother who insisted on seeing and saying goodbye to her young sons corpse.
Identification was done via facial photography by the coroners office. The coroner said as much in his first public interview.
