Sounds like a “straw man purchase”, which is illegal, IINM. So were his statements about giving the AR-15 to the PD, instead of keeping it. He and his wife have become useful tools and fools, IMO, just like the Bradys.
He’s finally realized he screwed up....likely why he didn’t complete the Form 4473 for the rifle.....Seems like he did for the pistol, so you WON’T be seeing him donate that to anyone because the act would prove he lied on the first question....a felony.....Rock and a hard place, Mark...Rock and a hard place.
