Totally CLUELESS reporting about one of the most honest statements ever made during an election. It is factual that half of the people don't care about Democrat or Republican ideology - they vote for whomever will keep the government freebies coming.

If Romney had been a dem, this guy would’ve disappeared or found floating in a canal somewhere. Of course the story would’ve never been reported.

It doesn’t matter who the POS is; if not this nobody the left would’ve found some other way to twist the opposition’s words, regardless of the truth in them.

The man will give his first public interview to MSNBC’s “The Ed Show” on Wednesday night.

Little woodies popping up all over DU for this awesome spectacle. Load up the bongs, it'll be better than a new Gore PowerPoint presentation on the general suckiness of humans.

Telling the truth doesn’t work in this country anymore. If you want to get elected, you need to pee on people’s legs and tell them it’s raining.

Funny how the 47% came up again. Obama was asked after his first win what about the 46% that did not vote for you and his reply was “I won”.

“Totally CLUELESS reporting...”

Perhaps clueless about the disasterous results of re-electing Obama, but the media (aka the Obama campaign) spin on this was cynical and deliberate. It’s a shame that the Romney campaign did use the publicity to explain why the 47% problem really matters (but I guess only part of the 53% would understand, or care).

I had wondered how the Republicans were dumb enough to let the Democrats infiltrate a private event. Now we know.

I watched a video of a speech where the former Governor of Montana, Democrat Brian Schweitzer, was addressing a meeting of trial lawyers. He admitted that he had interfered with an election in Montana for the US Senate. He claimed to have told people to threaten Republican election observers to make them leave the polling places so the Democrats could rig the election. The trial lawyers just laughed. Have you seen this video on any mainstream network news show? Democrats are Democrats first....being an American isn’t even on their list.

Happy with the status quo, buddy?

Why not, you got what you wanted - four more years of low economic growth, astronomical unemployment, deliberate disassembly of the military, clueless foreign policy, and the destruction of even the last, miniscule vestiges of constitutional government.

Congratulations.

Given the ratings of "The Ed Show," I don't think you can really say this guy is giving a public interview.

You’re a drag on society...the guy running for President calls you a drag on society...you find out he called you a drag on society...the media continues to remind you he called you a drag on society, chances are you won’t vote for him.

When will they learn that anything they say is
“on the record” whether it’s recorded or not.
There is no such thing as off the record.
If you don’t want it to be heard, don’t say it!!

Even a rookie politician should know - “The Mike is Alway Hot”.

Basically, Romney was never ready for prime time.

But, but I'm confused?

The former president said the video of Mitt Romney criticizing 47% of Americans as being dependent on the federal government for assistance — which was unearthed by James Carter IV — was a turning point that helped President Obama win the 2012 election. James Carter IV turned the secretly taped video over to Mother Jones magazine, which wrote a story about Romney's comments that went viral.

Does not matter. He could have taped Romney saying “the sun comes up in the East”, and the media would have successfully spun that into “he’s an arrogant elitist who hates working people”.

While Romney had told guests at the event that his remarks were off the record, he had not made the same admonition to those working at the event.

So, he skates on a technicality. He needs to be fired.

“In the end I really felt like it had to be put out,” the bartender tells MSNBC. “I felt I owed it to the people that couldn’t afford to be there themselves to hear what he really thought.”

So, he disagreed with the candidate's point of view, and he "leaked" the video. He needs to be fired and blacklisted.

Totally CLUELESS reporting about one of the most honest statements ever made during an election.

Romney admits that it was stupid, and nonsensical.

Can you define who or what the 47% is?
