Check with the Caliornia state legislature ~ they’re mostly nut cases, and they’ve all got weapons.

I could not agree more. There are lots of other people in CA with guns who scare the hell out of me and no one in law enforcement seems a bit interested in seizing their weapons: the Crips, Bloods, Fifth Street Gang, the Mexican Mafia, MS-13, the 38th St. Gang, violent drug-financed motorcycle gangs and so on. Where's the focus on the real criminals?

Real criminals shoot back at cops. Most law-abiding citizens don't. Cops like to go home each night after their shift.

When the law-abiding finally become de facto 'criminals' because they refuse to obey tyrannical gun laws, then cops will stop focusing on them too.

In my earlier life, I was the owner of a few guns that had been registered. Having given careful thought to the pending future, I disposed of ALL my guns via the “Garage Sale” method. When sold, I advised the persons who bought them that the guns were registered. None of the buyers complained about that. I wrote a Sales receipt and still have those receipts filed away with some “other valuable posessions”. When the gun grabbers come a calling, I’ll show them my receipts and they can go pound sand.
