United States Marines are being told to preserve ammunition and gasoline as a deal softening the impact of automatic spending cuts continues to elude leaders in Washington.
Marine Corps Commandant James Amos urged personnel in a video posted online Friday to "save every round, every gallon of gas," and to "take every single aspect or opportunity in training to get the most bang for the buck," a reminder of the cuts' immediate effect on the U.S. military.

The problem with the BILLIONS of rounds the Feds are buying is that they can not be used on the battle field! Most of it is jacketed hollow points, which are not used for training.
Ah, but if the ‘battlefield’ is the gate entry to the fedzilla fortress with controlled perimeter, then these rounds are understandable. What is to be noted is the multi-year amount ordered for delivery asap ... fedzilla knows there is approaching a date certain beyond which they will not be able to resupply for a few years, while the chaos, mayhem, starvation and disease reduce the populace to agenda 21 acceptable levels.
At some point we need to have a way to communicate with fellow patriots.
Obviously I was being facetious. We all know why the DHS is stockpiling ammo. Its not that hard to figure out.
a quick google will give you lots of sources
here’s one:

most oentagon flag officers are hacks. almost like buying a commission in the british army of yore. the marine and army grunts are going to be doing a lot of marches.
Horseback won’t even work when the collapse arrives. Take care to discover whom in the immediate neighborhood can be counted upon when armed defense is necessary. Network with them now, before the roof caves in.
Thanks. The bulk of the pension spending is Social Security.
The real meanwhile is... HOW many rounds is the DHS (and Fish and Wildlife, SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION, etc...) buying?
What more has to happen for people see treason? I have given up. McCain and the elite are more interested in keeping their lordships and duke titles.
This whole thing reminds me of Henry the freaking VIII

I take that back. At least Henry the VIII took care of his soldiers.
Sorry, replied from a ping, didn’t see your post.
At this point, complicity is an admission of treason on their part.
Yeah, but if he used a scary assault weapon, it would only take him a couple of hours to go through 1.6 billion rounds.
There are no automatic spending cuts. There is only a reduction of the planned increase.
Forbes reports that 240,000 of the 1.6 Billion rounds are JHP, consistent with Alex Jone’s original report.
“Treason” is exactly the word I was thinking of. Hard times ahead, brothers and sisters. Hard time ahead. May the divine had of Providence guide and protect you all in the days to come.
The SKY is falling. Now the military joins the Obama defund campaign. Its just all lies.
Obama means to destroy our military, and introduce his Obama Gestapo. Watch for it.
Remember that ammo order that was placed with the fake company in New Mexico or Arizona or wherever. I can't remember the name of it but it was discussed within the last month or two on FR. Makes you wonder if they slipped up with that one, how many other orders are fake. How much is really being bought and how much is being siphoned off into who knows who's wallet or for what other evil purpose.
