“Boko Haram” means “Book Forbidden”.
I’m not certain if it applies only to the Bible (Mahometans call Christians “People of the Book”), or if it applies to book learning in general.
In any event, the only solution to this infection is a stringent antiseptic.
From what I've read they translate Boko Haram as “All Western Education is a Sin”. The Muslims live in the resource poor north while the Christians live in the oil rich south. The two groups are not really reconcilable. Apparently we have 100 "military advisors" in Nigeria but that fact doesn't get published very often.
