Cheetahs are not like other big cats. They are actually tamable. Even in the wild they are less likely to attack humans. Cheetah attacks do happen but it is rare and usually caused by the human being more then normally stupid. I can not recall off hand any cheetah attack being fatal.

Cheetahs tend to go after small game. We are just too big for them.

But the rest of the big cats are another story.
