I am stuck in a dry rut where I live and work. Snow all around but very little here. And the road I travel with this contract has been mostly dry also. We would love it if all those that are tired of winter could have shared but "what it is, is what it is." As dry as it is, plans are being made and preparations done for summer crops with hopes of springs rains or just summer fallow if not. Glad we have some irrigation water for the alfalfa and corn.

My wife has been way south visiting her sister while I get to stay home and work. LOL She should be back in the cold north this weekend and be most welcome.

Prayers said for You and yours Kathy. This aging thing can sure be tough.

A neat song here, the 'born' is in its sentiment.

Thanks, Dust, for the prayers. We had a company in this afternoon....she, an RN, got to see my Dad at his “worst”. He was awake, up and down, not knowing what he wanted, and using his most favorite word now, NO!! Things have gone rapidly downhill since the weekend. We have someone coming in, starting tomorrow for three hours, and then Mon-Wed-Fri to help.

At this point I honestly don’t know if my Mom and I can handle what needs to be done. The nurse thinks a possible mini stroke. We will give it a try before figuring out “what next”.

Poor you having to stay home and work. d:o) Glad for you that she is almost home.
